The Christmas Letter, the Nativity Exhibition and greetings to the press

The appointment with Bishop Monsignor Giuseppe Giudice’s Christmas Letter is renewed, a tradition begun in 2011 to accompany the journey of families toward the Feast of the Incarnation. The text titled “Shepherds, Who Have You Seen?” has as its setting St. Peter’s Square on Christmas night of the Holy Year 2025. Here children, shepherds and figures of local holiness become the protagonists of a simple and direct dialogue.

The presentation will be held tomorrow, Friday, Dec. 19, at 8 p.m., at the “De Lise” theater in Sarno. The show is a theatrical adaptation of the Letter by “KèrigmaLab-Theater&Spirituality” directed by Teresa Staiano. Free admission while seats last. For WhatsApp reservations: 3492500598. Kicking off is the exhibition of nativity scenes that will affect the San Prisco Diocesan Museum in Nocera Inferiore, the Monastery of Purity in Pagani and other communities in the diocese. A widespread initiative throughout the territory that will accompany the faithful to the places where Christmas is lived and expressed through nativity art.

The first event, in collaboration with Pro Loco Nocera di Tutti, is at the San Prisco Diocesan Museum in Nocera Inferiore on Sunday, Dec. 21, at 6:30 p.m. Director Salvatore Alfano will introduce a poetry recital by Valerio Conturso and a bagpipe concert by Candido and Carlo Maria Del Pizzo.

Finally, on Monday, Dec. 22, at 10 a.m., at the Episcopal Curia in Nocera Inferiore, the bishop will meet the press for Christmas greetings.
